We are officially several days into Operation Nemeis, and already the EVE Vanguard community is coming alive with creativity, stories, and celebration. From comics and livestreams to podcasts, cover art, and dev celebrations, here are some of the highlights.
LAST TRANSMISSION COMIC
Before boots were even on the ground, community creator Ardanis shared a gripping three-page mini-comic following warclones Levi, Arda, and Danny. Cut off behind enemy lines on Zephra IV, with orbital comms jammed and enemies closing in, their only chance is to fight through and call down fire from above — even if it costs them everything. This is not just a battle. It’s a last transmission. Read the full comic here
OPERATION NEMESIS KICKOFF LIVESTREAM
The first Operation Nemesis livestream went live from CCP’s London office, hosted by CCP Raven, who also voices the in-game Supervisor. Raven walked through the new player journey and offered tips to help fresh warclones find their footing. Watch the recording on Twitch.
MEET “CHONKER”
New cover art dropped across Vanguard’s channels, and players immediately noticed the imposing, heavily armored warclone now affectionately dubbed “Chonker.” While this particular armor set isn’t in the game (yet), it’s already sparked excitement, and we can’t wait to see the first cosplay of this hulking behemoth.
EVE VANGUARD UPLINK PODCAST
The EVE Vanguard Uplink podcast dropped a new episode just 48 hours after launch. Hosted by CCP Collins, the show digs into immediate player feedback and how it’s helping to shape the game. Guests CCP Wonky and CCP Kovu from QA joined to share how warclone reports have already helped address early teething troubles and improve the experience. Watch the episode here:
OPERATION NEMESIS 'CHEERS'
To celebrate the launch of Operation Nemesis, the CCP London office gathered to make a toast to Operation Nemesis while watching streamers take their first steps onto planetary battlefields, and enjoy some cake to celebrate. A sweet moment for a historic deployment.
